Job summary

Prelim is a San Francisco and New York City-based startup with fully remote positions across the US, helping banks onboard customers. The recruiting team seeks a proactive Talent Acquisition professional to own full-cycle process and partner with managers to define exceptional hiring standards.

You will drive campus recruiting, build candidate pipelines, and report on metrics, while protecting the candidate experience through fast loops and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Clear communicator; writes JD’s, reports, debriefs, offer letters, and internal documentation.
• Genuine interest in people; reading them, persuading them, advocating for them.
• Evidence you learn hard things fast; what, how quickly, and the result was.
• A track record of top-tier performance: early promotion, top ranking, a team you led, a business you started.
• Nice to have: exposure to recruiting, sales, or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Run full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting offers through close.
• Fill pipelines with cold outreach, referrals, and events — not just process inbound applications.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand what “exceptional” looks like for each role.
• Help run campus recruiting efforts.
• Track pipeline metrics and report what’s working and what isn’t.
• Protect candidate experience — fast loops, honest communication, clean closes.
