Job summary

Kobie is seeking a dynamic Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the successful execution of our product portfolio and optimize delivery across engineering teams. This role focuses on improving operations, managing workflows, and enabling delivery through visibility, structure, and collaboration.

You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, lead governance and cross-functional collaboration, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management, with at least 2 years focused on product or technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of modern product and software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Lean).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive operational improvement.
• Technical proficiency with Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery) to design and manage workflows that align business processes with platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from intake and discovery through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client commitments.
• Own dashboards that track queue volume, SLA adherence, backlog health, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of requests and tasks across queues to minimise wait times and improve service delivery.
• Leverage data to identify areas in need of improvement and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Lead quarterly planning sessions and facilitate quarterly commitment alignment across teams.
• Use Jira to review and track Product Owner updates for features within Program Increments.
• Ensure Product Owners document changes to scope, budget, and timeline, along with associated risks, prior to execution, and report them to leadership.
• Call out, track, report, and follow through on risks and issues until resolution.
• Automate status and progress reporting using integrated tools
• Deliver clear and consistent communications to stakeholders at all levels, including executive summaries of status, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for anyone within Kobie regarding: product backlog and feature status; active development work; implementation related product features; client-committed initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clear definition of feature scope and deliverable schedules.
• Partner with managers across the organisation to coordinate seamless handoffs of work between teams.
• Support prioritisation of initiatives within product portfolio and software engineering based on objectives, constraints, and ROI.
• Help evolve best practices, templates, and dashboards to improve delivery and transparency.
• Optimise workflows and enable teams to operate with clarity and agility.
• Drive business transition management, ensuring features delivered are understood and deliver value.
• Use metrics and trends to guide continuous improvement and operational maturity.
