Job summary

Milliman MedInsight seeks a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to drive cloud-native platform capabilities across the MedInsight ecosystem. You’ll partner with Platform Engineering, Data, and Application teams to improve velocity, reliability, and security while translating complex tech into actionable requirements.

The role supports Seattle-area base with US-wide remote options and offers a comprehensive benefits package and career growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python, etc.)
• Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security, or similar shared capabilities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps
• Strong product judgment balancing long-term platform scalability with near-term delivery
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code platforms (Pulumi, Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem
• Collaborate with Product, Platform Engineering, Data and Application Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams
• Define product requirements for internal developer platforms and deployment workflows
• Identify developer pain points and translate into platform opportunities
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics
• Represent the voice of internal users and gather feedback
• Coordinate stakeholders to align on initiatives and roadmaps
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with Strategy and Leadership teams
• Prioritize platform requirements for business and application owners
