Job summary

Milliman MedInsight is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to join our team of engineers, designers, and product managers. This role shapes the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions more efficiently, reliably, and securely.

Qualifications

5+ years in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, healthcare, or related subjects.
Familiarity with analytics tech: Databricks, SQL, Python.
Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, Azure preferred.
Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, observability, reliability and security.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements, roadmaps.
Strong judgement balancing scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, delivery needs.
Understanding of IaaC platforms like Pulumi and Terraform.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem.
Define and deliver cloud-native platform capabilities at each stage of the MedInsight ecosystem.
Partner with platform engineering to define product requirements for internal developer platforms and tooling.
Identify developer and product pain points; translate into platform opportunities.
Develop and maintain product roadmaps with leadership teams.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on key initiatives.
Measure adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience.
