Job summary

Milliman MedInsight seeks a Technical Product Manager focused on platform engineering to shape strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions securely.

You will work with Product Strategy, Platform Engineering, Data, Architecture, Security, and Operations to strengthen platform foundations for scalable, reliable, and transparent product delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python)
• Understanding of cloud technologies with Azure experience preferred
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps
• Strong judgment balancing scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, and delivery
• Knowledge of modern IaC platforms (Pulumi, Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Serve as an SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight’s ecosystem
• Define and manage creation and delivery of cloud-native platform capabilities
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements for internal platforms, services, workflows, observability, security
• Identify developer and product pain points and translate to platform opportunities
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics
• Gather customer requirements and feedback from internal users
• Represent platform engineering needs in client and sales discussions
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on initiatives
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with Product Leadership
• Prioritize platform requirements for clarity to business and application owners
