Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Leader to drive architecture and implementation of comprehensive solution designs from presales through delivery. You will lead technical projects across Distribution Automation, Process Bus, and cybersecurity, coordinating with field engineers and executives.

You will present solutions, support demos and pilots, and ensure high-quality execution with adherence to safety standards. Willingness to travel up to 30% in the U.S. and Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Digital Protection & Control Systems or Energy Management Solutions design engineering.
• Proficient in designing and programming electrical control systems including SCADA/HMI and cybersecurity.
• Fluent in English and able to travel up to 30% in the US and Canada.
• Certifications and professional licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Projects: Drive activities from design to commissioning.
• Be the main technical interface between customer and project team.
• Participate in project risk reviews and manage budgets in engineering terms.
• Analyse customer specifications, write technical documentation, validate solutions.
• Specify software and IEDs, manage technical execution planning.
• Address deviations, manage fault reports, support on-site or remotely.
• Lead Factory and Site Acceptance Tests and coordinate milestones.
• Provide training to customers and support tendering and commercial teams.
