Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Software Delivery Manager / Technical Lead for the WAMS Services team in North America. This role blends technical delivery with customer-facing responsibilities, coordinating enterprise software deployments and guiding cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a IT-related degree, 5 years of software delivery experience, and comfort working with customers. Remote in the United States; occasional travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of software delivery project experience with Linux/Windows.
• Experience dealing with customers in a technical delivery context.
• Comfort with Kubernetes and modern deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support all stages of the project lifecycle from engagement to handover.
• Support technical proposals, define delivery approaches and SOWs.
• Lead the technical delivery of enterprise software deployments.
• Coordinate deployment, configuration, testing, and readiness activities.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments and manage expectations.
• Identify and resolve software, OS, network, and integration issues.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Tendering, and Support teams.
• Provide updates on progress, risks, and issues to the project team.
• Support scope, risk, and problem management with the Project Manager.
• Lead customer training, system walkthroughs, and user readiness.
• Assist in customer acceptance testing and sign-off.
• Contribute to delivery method improvements and efficiency.
• Handover to maintenance and support at project completion.
• Escalation point for maintenance with deep technical insight.
• Travel to meet customers and support on-site deployments; up to 20%.
