Job summary
GE Vernova seeks a Software Delivery Manager / Technical Lead for WAMS North America. This remote role focuses on leading enterprise software deployments, coordinating delivery activities, and solving complex technical issues for customers in the NA region.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software delivery projects, strong IT networking and deployment skills, and comfort working with customers across geographies. Travel up to 20% may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience with software delivery projects using Linux/Windows and related grid software.
- Desirable: experience with grid software such as WAMS/EMS/DMS/DERMS and customer-facing delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of enterprise software deployments in customer environments.
- Coordinate software deployment, configuration, testing and readiness activities.
- Communicate progress and manage technical expectations with customers and internal teams.
- Identify and resolve software, network, and OS issues during deployment.
- Support and participate in customer acceptance testing and project handover.
