ClaimSorted in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Technical Claims Team Lead to head a remote Claims Department handling Complaints, Fraud, QA, Recoveries and Payment Controls. You will line-manage a team of experienced Technical Claims Handlers.

You will drive KPI performance, oversee workflow allocation, perform QA, and maintain risk oversight while coaching staff to improve quality and productivity in a high-growth startup environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an Insurance Claims Leadership Role with +8 direct reports.
• Minimum 5 years in Complaints / Fraud / Quality Assurance.
• Experience leading in a start-up high-growth company.
• Deep expertise in claims handling and insurance best practices.
• Ability to use data to drive understanding and decision making.
• Experience coaching colleagues to improve quality and productivity.
• Ability to inspire and achieve top performance.
• Highly organised and able to self-prioritise workload for the business and customer.
• Team player, always willing to support colleagues to achieve the right results.

Responsabilités

• Line management of a team of Technical Claims Handler, including HR and Performance management.
• Drive top performance and KPI achievement in your team.
• Claims workflow allocation and capacity planning to achieve high productivity and quality results.
• Quality Assurance checks and coaching to improve quality of technical claims team output.
• Maintain detailed oversight of the technical claims portfolio, including escalation of risks.
