Job summary

ADI Global Distribution is seeking a Technical Sales BDM to drive territory sales through technical product discussions with customers. You will collaborate with customers to identify cross-sell opportunities and integrate exclusive brand products into proposals.

The role requires excellent technical presentation skills, deep Pro AV knowledge, and comfort meeting with engineers, salespeople, owners, and C-Suite personnel. This is a field-facing role with travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the Audio Visual industry.
• Willing to travel 50% of the time.
• Active and clean driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Function as the Technical Sales BDM by coordinating with regional ProAV sales teams to drive business.
• Technically support strategic brands with customers and advise on solutions for projects.
• Meet with ProAV integrators to discuss product solutions and correct fit for projects.
• Conduct proactive outreach and targeted selling to promote AV products among existing customers.
• Attend industry events to meet customers and provide training on solutions.
• Achieve sales targets, report metrics, and identify new opportunities to hit targets.
• Facilitate system designs with internal design and professional services teams.
• Maintain effective internal communication regarding duties and responsibilities.
• Report metrics and tracking in sales management tools.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and capture sales opportunities.
