Job summary

IDC is seeking an Account Executive to join the Americas Growth Sales Team. This role focuses on selling IDC's research, data, events and custom consulting products, with the position ideally based in the North East but open to qualified candidates across the continental US.

You will manage accounts, plan territories, forecast activity, renew contracts, and pursue growth opportunities. This is a remote role with limited travel and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of quota-carrying tech sales with strong communication.
• Proven cold-calling and pipeline development experience.
• Ability to grow existing accounts and build relationships.
• Less than 10% travel; remote role.

Responsibilities

• Account management with the aim of increasing YoY total bookings.
• Proficiency in account planning and territory management.
• Accurate daily activity reporting and forecasting.
• Learn IDC products to align with territory and competitors.
• Renew contracts, drive retention and account growth.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop opportunities.
