IDC's Americas Growth Sales Team is seeking an Account Executive to focus on selling IDC's research, data, events, and custom consulting products. This role is ideally based in the North East and can be remote across the continental US.

The position emphasizes account management, renewal and growth, with heavy emphasis on relationship-building and strategic planning. Expect exposure to a global technology intelligence brand with strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quota carrying technology related sales experience.
• Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in both existing and prospect accounts and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Account management with the goal of increasing YoY total bookings.
• Proficiency in account planning and territory management.
• Accurate daily activity reporting and monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting.
• Learn IDC products and services that align with your territory and accounts.
• Help clients maximize value from market research investments, focusing on renewals, retention and growth.
• Coordinate with internal IDC stakeholders to develop opportunities within the account base.
