Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a team of developers delivering high-quality software products. The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and deep software engineering expertise across backend services and cloud platforms.

You will work with product management, architecture, and other software teams within a global life sciences data and AI solutions provider. A bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field is expected, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 9+ years of Java programming experience.
• 4+ years of Spring Boot and Spring Frameworks.
• 2+ years of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
• Proficient with AI tools like Cursor and Claude.
• 2+ years of Agile practices.
• 2+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• 3+ years of experience designing backend microservices with RESTful APIs and security.
• 4+ years of experience with Jenkins and Docker.
• TDD experience beneficial.
• Pharma/healthcare sector exposure is a plus.
