Smile Digital Health in the United States is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to lead a team of Implementation Leads and Developers delivering healthcare interoperability solutions. The role combines hands-on programming guidance with people management to ensure successful project delivery.

You will guide architecture, estimation, testing, and documentation across the full lifecycle, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, QA, CloudOps, and customer success to build

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Java and healthcare interoperability projects.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and project delivery.
• Experience with HL7 FHIR, v2, CDA/CCDA and enterprise integrations.
• Strong planning, estimation, and documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Technical Implementation Leads and Developers.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation lifecycle from discovery to go-live.
• Guide solution design and technical decision-making across projects.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, CloudOps, and Support teams.
• Create reusable implementation assets and playbooks.
• Address escalations and complex technical challenges.
• Ensure proper documentation and operational handover.
• Identify recurring issues and drive process improvements.
• Maintain high-quality code and delivery standards.
• Coordinate with customers and executives through workshops.
