Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager, Tax Technology to lead the tax platform and business projects across the DoorDash tax team.

You will bridge tax, product, engineering, and finance to configure, test, and deliver tax features on Vertex and ERP integrations. Based on the East Coast, this role can be remote within the US and focuses on end-to-end tax platform delivery for new verticals, merchants, and product launches, including cross-border considerations across US, Canada,

Qualifications

6+ years of indirect tax or indirect tax technology experience.
Experience with US sales and use tax and related global taxes.
Hands-on Vertex O Series configuration and testing.
Experience integrating ERP tax engines with Vertex.

Responsibilities

Lead tax platform and business projects on the DoorDash platform.
Translate business and tax requirements into functional configuration and testing.
Review BRDs, PRDs, and TDDs for tax-system implications.
Define testing requirements and oversee validations across testing phases.
Trace tax data through Vertex to downstream reporting.
Ensure readiness for production releases and document lessons learned.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, TAP and Tax Product teams.
Coordinate with US and Mexico peers and offshore team members.
