DoorDash Inc. seeks an experienced Manager, Tax Technology to lead the tax platform and business projects, focusing on new integrations, verticals, and merchant partnerships.

You will translate business and tax requirements into functional system specs, review technical documents, and drive end-to-end delivery across tax engines and ERP integrations. Formación

• 6+ years of indirect tax or indirect tax technology experience.
• Experience with US sales and use tax and cross-border GST/HST/PST for Canada and AU/NZ GST.
• Hands-on experience implementing or configuring Vertex O Series and ERP tax integration (e.g., NetSuite).
• Ability to translate business/tax requirements into functional system requirements and review design documents.

Responsabilidades

• Lead tax platform and business projects on the DoorDash platform, including new verticals and product launches.
• Gather requirements from TAP, Tax Product, and stakeholders, translating into tax-system functional requirements.
• Review BRDs, PRDs, and TDDs for tax-system implications and provide functional tax expertise.
• Define testing requirements and oversee unit, integration, E2E, and post-launch validations.
• Trace tax data flow from upstream systems through Vertex to downstream reporting and flag gaps or risks.
• Ensure production readiness and document post-launch learnings.
• Serve as a bridge between non-tax tech stakeholders and tax technology teams.
• Collaborate with US/Mexico peers and offshore teams for cross-time-zone coverage.
