Filed is the AI tax preparer trusted by America's accounting firms. This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere in the United States outside New York, with preference for Pacific or Mountain time zones.

You’ll bridge customers and engineering, reproduce issues, and write precise tickets to drive fast fixes. You’ll handle support tickets, troubleshoot, verify changes, and pursue patterns that improve our software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA or software testing experience and ability to reproduce bugs.
• Customer support experience in a ticketing system (Pylon, Zendesk, Intercom or Freshdesk).
• Tax background from tax/accounting firm or tax software company, or preparing returns.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce customer-reported issues step by step using Filed and tax software.
• Write clear Linear tickets with exact steps, expected vs. actual results, and sample data.
• Answer customer tickets quickly and clearly in the support inbox.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and find workarounds to keep firms moving.
• Verify fixes before they go back to the customer and perform regression testing after releases.
• Spot patterns across tickets and flag them to prevent spread.
