Job summary

Liveops is seeking a Tax Software Support Contractor to provide remote, empathetic support for a leading tax software program during peak season. Contractors work 1099, self-schedule 30-minute blocks, and are paid per talk-minute with performance incentives.

This is a remote, independent engagement with flexible scheduling and the potential for additional performance-based pay. Ideal candidates have strong communication, experience handling inbound/outbound calls, and comfort using

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Experience taking inbound and outbound calls.
• Computer skills and ability to document notes across systems.
• Patience and empathy when assisting customers.
• Ability to work independently under contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer care for users of tax software (not tax advice).
• Interact with customers via Screenshare to deliver support.
• Research and locate answers in client digital library.
• Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve questions.
• Maintain calm, reassuring engagement with customers.
