Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience serving high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance with complex returns.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, manage multiple client engagements, and maintain visibility into deadlines and deliverables.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, ensuring timely federal, state, and local returns.
• Possess knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities; ensure consistent application of tax law.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns, ensure documentation, and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a primary client contact, provide proactive tax planning insights, and support meetings/presentations.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; identify margin risks and inefficiencies; implement improvements.
• Cultivate client relationships and promote accountability across the engagement team.
• Provide coaching, training, and real-time feedback; support recruiting and performance evaluation.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to improve efficiency and scalability of service delivery.
• Participate in business development, including identifying opportunities and supporting proposals.
• Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm to ensure high-quality service.
