Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns for at least 30 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Proficient with technology and software.
• Strong customer service via video/audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers virtually using video communications software.
• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation and signature.
• Answer product and software inquiries and perform tax calculations.
• Document customer interactions and meet KPI metrics.
• Participate in training and development and pilot projects as required.
