Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a motivated tax support professional to assist TurboTax customers with tax returns, expert guidance, and explanations of tax terms in a virtual setting.

You will use our video tools, document interactions, and strive to meet KPI targets while completing required trainings. A minimum of 20 hours per week, US residency, and PTIN/licensing readiness are expected; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of federal/state 1040 tax returns for 30+ clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN required.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Proficient with technology; solid computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; use video software to interact with customers.
• Help TurboTax customers with tax returns, tax advice, and full service return preparation.
• Create high quality customer interactions using empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
• Leverage government sites and professional resources to deliver correct answers in everyday language.
• Apply defined practices and company policies to troubleshoot tax advice and preparation inquiries.
• Document customer interactions.
• Work toward meeting KPI metrics and Big Bet Goals.
• Participate in pilot testing and experience validations.
• Complete required training and development as determined by the business.
