Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a virtual Tax Preparer with 2+ years of federal and state 1040 experience to assist customers using TurboTax products. You will provide tax guidance, full service return preparation, and clear explanations of tax terms via video calls.

You will leverage government resources and team support to deliver accurate answers, while adhering to procedures. Remote role requiring US residence and 20+ hours weekly availability.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Active PTIN and ability to obtain state licenses if required.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers virtually via video communications software.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and resolve inquiries using defined procedures.
• Meet KPIs and participate in training and program initiatives.
