Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP in New Jersey or Miramar is seeking a Talent Services Operations Specialist to analyze background reports for incoming hires and manage client background check requests. The role can be remote or hybrid, with occasional in-office meetings to strengthen teamwork and relationships.

You will work closely with the Director of Talent Service Operations and the Talent Services Operations Manager to conduct in-depth reviews of background checks in accordance with FCRA and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Legal, Research, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• 5 years' experience in Legal, Research, Law Enforcement, Labor Relations, or Human Resources in a large or medium-size organization.
• Understanding of labor law and industry best practices; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Processes and reviews background reports under federal/state reporting guidelines and standards.
• Reviews CV/resume, application, transcripts and other documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Identifies discrepancies and liaises with team to verify facts in report.
• Communicates with offices/recruiters to obtain missing information quickly.
• Documents and prepares a thorough report of findings for management decisions.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and logs.
• Initiates international, client, and vendor background check requests and issues clearances as appropriate.
