Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HR, legal, or related field.
• 5 years' experience in legal, research, law enforcement, labor relations, or HR.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS; Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and review background reports under federal/state guidelines.
• Verify documents against background reports for accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and liaise with team to verify facts.
• Communicate with offices/recruiters to obtain missing information.
• Prepare a thorough findings report for decision makers.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor background checks status.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
