Job summary

ABSC is actively seeking a full-time, temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting during a spike in hiring. Working under the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will source candidates, conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interviews, and support recruiting across technical, cleared, and corporate roles in a remote setup.

The ideal candidate will be execution-focused, organized, and comfortable in a collaborative support role following established processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or sourcing experience.
• Experience sourcing candidates using recruiting platforms.
• Experience recruiting technical, government contracting and cleared positions.
• Experience conducting candidate phone screens and evaluating qualifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System.
• Ability to manage multiple recruiting priorities with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work within established recruiting processes with initiative.
• Must provide technology for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Support Director of Talent Acquisition by executing recruiting activities for government contracting and corporate requisitions.
• Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, networks, referrals, and databases.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current openings and anticipated needs.
• Recruit for technical, engineering, cybersecurity, intelligence, program management, operations, corporate and cleared positions.
• Engage candidates with Top Secret/TS/SCI and Poly clearances where applicable.
• Conduct initial phone screens and evaluate qualifications, compensation expectations, availability, and fit.
• Present qualified candidates with screening notes.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS in real time.
• Ensure timely communication and candidate experience throughout the process.
• Assist with recruiting for new contracts, proposals, and transitions.
• Draft and post job descriptions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.
• Adapt recruiting priorities with changing business needs.
