Expansion International is partnering with a healthcare interpreting provider to recruit Medical Video Remote Interpreters for Tagalog across the US. The role is fully remote with sessions on video, occasional phone calls, requiring a quiet home workspace and high-speed internet.

New entrants are welcomed as training is provided; prior interpreting experience is a bonus but not required if you can show strong bilingual fluency and understanding of interpreting ethics and confidentiality in

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Tagalog at a professional level.
• Experience can come from informal settings e.g., interpreting for family.
• Willingness to complete a medical interpreting proficiency assessment.
• Comfort working within US healthcare context.

Responsabilités

• Provide accurate video interpreting between English and Tagalog (and some phone sessions).
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold interpreter ethics and standards.
• Follow company procedures and protect patient privacy.
• Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and adapt to evolving technology and workflows.
• Participate in required training, coaching, and quality initiatives.
