Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Systems Sales Specialist for remote coverage in the Western United States. You will join the Regional Sales team to drive key account strategies and build customer relationships across power generation, renewables, and data center markets within Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

You will present product demonstrations, analyze industry trends, and lead pursuit activities while collaborating with internal partners to expand the PWS footprint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing within process control industry (power generation, water/wastewater, renewable energy or similar).
• Strong ability to build relationships across multiple organizational levels and present compelling value propositions.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% to cover the Western US territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with customers across power, renewables, and data center sectors—from plant teams to executive leadership.
• Deliver value-focused sales strategies, including competitive differentiation and pricing insights.
• Coordinate and present product demonstrations and technical overviews to showcase new solutions and services.
• Maintain awareness of utility trends and customer needs and provide updates to leadership.
• Lead pursuit plans, proposals and negotiation activities.
