Job summary

Stellar Virtual is seeking a Systems Integrations Lead to design, implement, and maintain integrations connecting Stellar Virtual's core business and learning platforms into a scalable technology ecosystem. Focus areas include API architecture, system interoperability, and secure data flows across Salesforce, SIS, LMS, and data warehouse.

The role requires 3+ years in integrations, 2+ years in education tech, and strong REST API and security experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in systems integration, integration engineering, API development, or related technical role, preferably in a remote environment.
2+ years in K–12 education, virtual education, higher education, or education technology environments, with understanding of student lifecycle processes.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage a remote home-office setup.
1–2 years of experience using Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) professionally or academically.
Ability to communicate complex ideas in writing with clarity and low ambiguity.
Access to private, secure, high-speed internet (min 25 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up).
Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting REST API integrations, OAuth, API keys, JWT, and cross-platform data exchange.
Experience with data mapping, system interoperability, integration troubleshooting, and production support across enterprise apps.
Knowledge of SIS, LMS, CRM or comparable enterprise applications and FERPA/data privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce, SIS, LMS, data warehouse, and other enterprise platforms.
Own API connectivity, authentication methods, endpoint configuration, and integration architecture to support reliable cross-platform communication.
Develop and maintain field mappings, synchronization processes, and data exchange standards for consistent information across systems.
Monitor integration health, troubleshoot synchronization issues, and resolve data discrepancies through root cause analysis and long-term solutions.
Coordinate testing and validation for new or modified integrations to avoid disrupting existing processes.
Collaborate with platform admins, the Automations Engineer, and the Data Analyst to support downstream automation, reporting, and workflows.
Establish and maintain integration standards, documentation, governance, and compliance with student data privacy requirements.
