Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator (Linux/Microsoft) to manage server environments, perform upgrades, and ensure compliance with policies. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include maintaining Windows and Linux servers, providing Tier 2 support and troubleshooting, as well as coordinating with vendors for hardware and software installations. This role is remote and requires working East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience in Windows and Linux clustered server operations.
• Experience with NIST RMF compliance.
• Current experience with configuring audit-trail collection tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain installations and administration of Windows IIS, Microsoft SQL, and Linux RHEL9 servers.
• Upgrade servers and operating systems.
• Provide Tier 2 response for escalated issues.

Skills

Server setup and installation skills

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals

Experience with virtualization platforms

Administration experience with Apache, LAMP, and PHP

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively

Current experience with Microsoft Excel
