Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an Associate, Systems Administrator to manage server and platform infrastructure, applying hardening standards and guiding junior staff. You will handle patch cycles, capacity planning, and monitoring while supporting Kiteworks and automation efforts.

You will work with IT security to enforce baselines, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate across technology teams to deliver reliable services. Remote, full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience at Senior Analyst or Analyst level.
• Experience in Systems Administration or related field, incl. hands-on administration of enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on administration experience with AWS and Azure services.
• Experience implementing infrastructure solutions from defined requirements with limited supervision.
• Strong hands-on administration across Windows Server and Linux OS.
• Kiteworks administration, including user and policy configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security hardening standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks).
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Strong change management and risk assessment skills.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments, testing, and security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point (Tier 2/3) for server, platform, and infrastructure issues.
• Support infrastructure workstreams on site and in projects, provide design input and risk assessment.
• Document system requirements and support deployment of new products/services.
• Maintain patch and release cadence; create change records and present to CAB.
• Administer Kiteworks platform, including policy configuration and troubleshooting.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
• Maintain build standards, runbooks, and procedures; update as configurations change.
• Perform remote or on-site trouble resolution; install software/hardware and configure systems.
• Provide guidance to Analyst-level administrators and review their work for accuracy.
• Configure monitoring/alerting and capacity planning to avoid outages.
• Support disaster recovery and incident restoration; assist root-cause analyses.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Terraform) to standardize tasks.
• Maintain backup/recovery configurations and test restores.
• Track lifecycle and EOL status for platforms; plan upgrades and renewals.
• Manage privileged access and enforce security baselines with InfoSec.
• Participate in on-call rotation and maintain runbooks/escalation paths.
