Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a System Administrator I to deliver reliable IT support for clients in a remote-first environment. You will handle Windows/macOS issues, manage Windows Server environments, and administer Microsoft 365/Azure; you will also support virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and key business apps like Sage ERP and QuickBooks.

You will diagnose complex problems, assist other technicians, and help maintain secure, efficient client environments while meeting CSAT and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in IT support or systems administration.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments.
• Windows Server administration on 2016–2025.
• VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization experience.
• Azure and Entra ID with AD + Microsoft 365 expertise.
• Networking fundamentals with firewalls and switches.
• Experience with Sage ERP and QuickBooks.
• MSP experience is desirable.
• Strong English communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work full-time, 40 h/week ET.
• Remote-home office setup with required hardware and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows/macOS across clients.
• Manage server environments: Windows Server 2016–2025.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, AD, and 365.
• Support virtualization using VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Troubleshoot business apps including Sage ERP and QuickBooks.
• Maintain network connectivity; troubleshoot firewalls and switches.
• Support endpoint security, backups, and mobile devices.
• Serve as escalation point for technicians and share knowledge.
• Deliver high-quality client service and document work.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
