Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support a secure, enterprise IT environment in a fully remote role across the United States. You will administer Windows systems, manage vulnerabilities, and deploy software using Tanium and GPO to enforce security policies.

The role requires strong Windows OS knowledge, experience with endpoint management, and collaboration with IT and security teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows system administration and enterprise IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, assessment, remediation and security patching.
• Hands-on Tanium experience for endpoint management and vulnerability management.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPO) configuration and management.
• Experience with software packaging and enterprise deployments.
• Understanding of endpoint security and IT infrastructure best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows-based systems for stability, security, availability, and performance.
• Lead vulnerability identification, assessment, tracking, and remediation.
• Utilize Tanium for endpoint management, monitoring, and security compliance.
• Configure and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPO) to enforce security policies.
• Create, package, test, and deploy software across Windows environments.
• Oversee software deployment processes and resolve installation issues.
• Monitor system health, investigate issues, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve administration practices.
