Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Surgical Account Manager to drive surgeon demand across the Surgical Center of Technology portfolio, including Stapling, Energy, Suture, Electrosurgery, Situate, and Access & Instrumentation. The role covers Oakland, Walnut Creek, San Ramon and Danville, CA and requires residing within the territory with a valid driver's license for travel to accounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of sales/clinical experience, Associate’s with 4+ years, or Bachelor’s with 2+ years in medical devices or life sciences.
• Experience in building and managing key customer relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of clinical environments and ability to communicate complex product information.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact across MDT account teams and lead contract strategies.
• Lead the creation and execution of account-level strategies and optimize contracts.
• Drive adoption and utilization of Surgical Center of Technology (COT) products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with economic and clinical stakeholders.
• Conduct quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and growth opportunities.
