Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Surgical Account Manager to drive surgeon demand across the full Surgical COT portfolio in the Oakland region, collaborating with clinical and administrative stakeholders. This remote role requires residing in the territory and traveling to multiple accounts with a valid driver’s license.

You will develop and execute strategic plans, manage contracts, and expand market share while maintaining strong relationships with field teams and distribution partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of experience or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with 4+ / 2+ years respectively in medical device or life sciences sales.
• Experience selling in clinical environments and understanding payer/customer dynamics ideal.
• Strong communication, contract negotiation, and account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive surgeon demand across the Surgical COT portfolio including Stapling, Energy, Suture, Electrosurgery and Insertion & Instrumentation.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans and business reviews at regional level.
• Cultivate relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders to expand opportunities.
• Lead contract strategy creation and execution for accounts.
• Improve opportunity management, forecasting, and market share growth.
• Coordinate with field distribution partners to maximize programs and outcomes.
