RTX is seeking a remote Supplier Development Lead to drive supplier recovery, capability improvements, and sustainable performance. The role works across global commodities and requires strong crisis-management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Engineering.

The ideal candidate will manage containment, supplier assessments, and structured improvement plans, with travel up to 50% as needed. Preference is for Pacific Time zone applicants.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.
• Proficient in LEAN principles/tools to drive process improvement.
• MS Office proficiency (Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience reading blueprints/engineering drawings and manuals.

Responsabilités

• Containment & recovery leadership for high-stakes suppliers.
• Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations & Quality.
• Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings to align expectations and actions.
• Conduct RCCA investigations to resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement improvement plans and review checkpoints.
• Monitor KPIs and escalate issues to crisis mode as needed.
