Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Development Lead to drive containment, supplier recovery, and capability building across global commodities. The role is remote with preference for Pacific Time Zone, requiring broad cross-functional coordination and site travel as needed.

You will manage RCCA investigations, develop improvement plans, and align with commodity managers, engineering teams, and SBUs to ensure sustainable supplier performance and readiness for new programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: A university degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience applying CORE/LEAN principles to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Containment & Recovery leadership for high-stakes suppliers and executive presentations.
• Lead supplier development and capability-building initiatives with roadmaps and training.
• Coordinate transitions and ensure smooth handovers with minimal disruption.
• Travel up to 50% to supplier sites as required.
