Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a Supervisor Workers’ Comp Claims to oversee a team of claims professionals across experience levels, driving performance and quality service for a broad multistate jurisdiction including AZ, CO, UT, NV, NM, TX, OK, MO, KS, FL, GA, NC, SC. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience with increasing responsibility.
• 3+ years claims leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
• Knowledge of WC laws and regulations in core states incl. TX and others; willingness to obtain licensure as needed.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, or marketing.
• Ability to manage organizational change and lead in a team-based organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of workers’ compensation claims professionals and administer performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, timeliness, quality, and customer service excellence.
• Hire, coach, and retain staff; develop leadership and succession planning.
• Collaborate with other claim leaders to balance workloads and share best practices.
• Establish and maintain service levels with leaders in other divisions.
