CopperPoint Insurance Companies in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Supervisor Workers Comp Claims to lead a high-performing team. You will set expectations, coach staff, and drive accountability while collaborating with regional leadership to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.

The role requires extensive WC claims experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of state regulations. You will guide process improvements and ensure quality outcomes across the claims function.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of workers' compensation claims adjusting with increasing responsibility and supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of claims leadership with a proven track record.
• In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations in SE states (FL, GA, NC, SC) and willingness to learn others.
• DOI, NCCI and state rules; ability to interpret and apply laws.
• Experience leading teams, coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-level claims handling to meet regulatory guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate goals and quality assurance across the department.
• Hire, coach and retain staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead staff development and succession planning.
• Partner with other leaders to balance workloads and improve processes.
