Job summary

Mountain Community Online School (MCOS) seeks a Success Coach to be the consistent point of contact for students and families, supporting onboarding, monitoring attendance and engagement, and coordinating timely interventions. The role carries a caseload of approximately 125 students and reports to the MCOS School Director.

Occasional travel is required for student events and testing support while collaborating with teachers and families to help students progress in their courses and Climb

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with students and families.
• Comfort managing a high volume of concurrent student relationships, with strong organization and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and family connection: guide new and returning students and families through orientation, technology access, course schedules, and onboarding tasks.
• Engagement and student success planning: monitor learning platform activity, identify disengagement, and initiate outreach; maintain progress records.
• Climb Higher Projects and school community: support project options, milestones, and showcase logistics; help facilitate events and family communication.
