Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a Student Success Coach to manage onboarding, core interventions, and support services for assigned students. You will be the primary contact for new students and families, coordinating with homeroom teachers, and ensuring a strong start to the school year.

You will facilitate interventions, track progress, and provide research-based strategies to improve engagement, attendance, and academic outcomes. Travel for state testing and events is required several times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong data collection and analysis skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and work under pressure.
• Experience with distributed team models and working with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding for new and returning students and families.
• Maintain weekly open office hours and help sessions.
• Serve as primary contact for families and coordinate with teachers.
• Review transcripts and assist with course selection during admissions.
• Document student progress and coordinate professional development activities.
• Collaborate with school leadership on re-enrollment and student support.
