Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a Success Coach for Mountain Community Online School (MCOS), a fully remote statewide public charter program in Western North Carolina. You will be the consistent point of contact for students and families, supporting onboarding, monitoring attendance and engagement, and coordinating timely interventions to help students progress in courses and Climb Higher Projects.

Reporting to the MCOS School Director, you will manage a caseload of about 125 students, work closely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to build trust quickly with students and families.
• Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent student relationships with strong organization.
• Reliable internet access and a dedicated home workspace.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and family connection through orientation, technology access, course schedules, and required onboarding tasks.
• Monitor attendance and engagement; initiate outreach after missed login days and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate interventions and support student progress in courses and Climb Higher Projects; track caseload trends.
• Report progress to the School Director and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff; assist with events and outreach.
