Job summary

California Surveying & Drafting Supply (CSDS) seeks an Account Manager for subsurface technologies, mainly in Arizona and parts of California. You will consult with utilities, contractors, engineers, and surveyors to sell GPR, locators, and related equipment, grow key accounts, and expand new business through face-to-face meetings and site demos.

The role requires travel to client sites, industry events, and trade shows, with strong targets and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction, utility, engineering, and geophysical sectors.
• Identify client needs and recommend subsurface technologies such as GPR, utility locators, seismic sensors, and electromagnetic instruments.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new clients to closing deals and providing post-sales support.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical consultations.
• Work closely with internal teams, including technical support and product specialists, to provide the best solutions for customers.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and emerging subsurface technologies.
• Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to expand market presence.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
