Job summary

California Surveying & Drafting Supply (CSDS) is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales of land surveying hardware and software in Orange County. The role reports to the Survey Sales Manager and involves presenting complex solutions, promoting Trimble portfolio ROI, and traveling within the territory to close deals.

The ideal candidate has 2-5+ years of field sales in GIS, surveying, or civil engineering and a proven track record in solution selling.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of field sales experience in GIS, civil engineering, land surveying, aerial mapping, infrastructure or construction fields.
• Knowledge of land surveying / engineering / laser scanning / photogrammetry / aerial / geospatial technologies is highly desired but not mandatory.
• Direct sales skills with a track record of closing sales in complex solutions.
• Ability to communicate ROI and present complex technical sales presentations.

Responsibilities

• Actively seeking leads and sales opportunities.
• Identifying and developing key vertical markets in the territory.
• Interfacing and developing strong relationships with key end users.
• Closing sales to end users of land surveying hardware and software solutions.
• Presenting ROI and financial benefits of the Trimble surveying portfolio.
• Attending tradeshows and industry events.
• Traveling extensively in the territory to maintain close customer contact.
