Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Substation Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery team. This remote role, based in the United States, may require occasional client visits and in-office travel.

You will contribute to the design, analysis, and delivery of substation projects, collaborating with engineers, CAD technicians, and clients to ensure quality and schedule adherence. Qualified candidates have 4+ years of substation design experience, a PE or EI is a plus, and demonstrated ability to read complex

Responsibilities

• Execute substation physical and P&C projects.
• Interact with internal team and clients to meet project needs.
• Perform quality control checks on substation designs.
• Read and design one-line, three-line, schematics, wiring, plan-section drawings.
• Create and check bill of materials for substation projects.
• Create and check estimates and schedules for projects.
• Provide construction support and on-site assistance.
