Job summary

Lvi-Associates seeks a Substation Engineering Lead for Clean Energy and Power projects in the U.S. with a strong electrical engineering background in substation design.

The role combines technical engineering with project leadership, delivering design to client interface across renewables interconnections, switchyards, and data centers. The ideal candidate will own project deliverables, schedules, and budgets, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and serve as the primary liaison with developers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (masters preferred)
• Minimum 4 years from a US-based engineering firm, consultancy, utility, etc.
• Substation engineering experience including substation physical design or protection & control design
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage design reviews, processes, and client interactions
• PE License preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Own project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and engineering resource planning.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams and subject matter experts across multiple disciplines.
• Act as the main point of contact for developers, utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and other clients.
• Interface with clients and SMEs to review submittals and respond to RFPs.
