SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer II, Substation to own the preliminary substation design and engineering lifecycle for utility-scale solar, BESS, and interconnection projects nationwide.

The role is fully remote and acts as the technical owner from kickoff through design-to-preconstruction handoff. You will align design basis, scope, schedule, risks, and assumptions before execution, and lead the 10% design, coordinating inputs from engineering consultants, procurement, estimating,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical substation engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, ETAP or similar software.

Responsabilidades

• Own the first-pass preliminary substation design for assigned projects.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering consultants, procurement, estimating, and scheduling.
• Lead development of the 10% substation design, including single-line diagrams and layouts.
• Review client documents and identify requirements, risks, and open items.
