Job summary

Serco Inc. is hiring a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team. Hybrid options from Herndon, VA or remote from anywhere in the U.S. You will lead negotiations, manage RFPS/Subcontracts, and ensure compliance across federal programs.

Requires US Citizenship, a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in federal contracting, and deep FAR/DFAR knowledge. You’ll coordinate with program teams to deliver low-risk, compliant subcontract solutions.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
• Experience in US government procurement, preferably with a peer prime contractor supporting large labor subcontracts
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a federal contracting environment
• Comprehensive understanding of FAR/DFAR and contract law
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Work effectively in a project team environment to meet deadlines
• Provide effective subcontractor/supplier management ensuring compliance with negotiated price, terms, and delivery schedule

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations concerning price, terms, and delivery schedule
• Develop competitive and sole-source RFPs for federal services and products of medium to high complexity
• Manage RFQ/RFPs and awards to meet program timelines
• Award subcontracts of high complexity and document actions per standards
• Provide effective subcontractor management ensuring compliance with negotiated terms
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable types
