Job summary

Serco is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team, with hybrid work from Herndon, VA or remote from anywhere in the U.S. You will lead negotiations and administration of medium to high complexity subcontracts, ensuring compliance and timely awards.

The role requires 8+ years in federal contracting, US citizenship, and strong FAR/DFAR knowledge, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• US government procurement experience
• Minimum 8 years in federal contracting
• Comprehensive understanding of FAR/DFAR contracting requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing RFx, pricing, and subcontract administration
• Ability to work in a project team and meet schedules

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations on price, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Develop RFPs for federal services and medium-high complexity.
• Ensure pricing/proposal support and award timelines are met.
• Award high-complexity subcontracts and document actions per compliance.
• Manage subcontractor performance and escalate issues promptly.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable types.
