Job summary

CIEE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through study abroad and intercultural exchange. The Study Abroad Advisor will manage enrollment targets for the assigned region, guiding applicants through review, pre-departure, and immigration steps with a focus on customer service and program excellence.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, collaboration with campus partners, and robust knowledge of visa processes. Remote work from the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
• 2–3 years of sales or customer service experience.
• International study or work experience preferred.
• Strong ability to meet enrollment targets and convert applicants.
• Experience with education abroad or higher education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed enrollment targets by converting applicants to paid participants.
• Review applications and administer admission decisions for the region.
• Advise on program components (academics, housing) to applicants.
• Coordinate with visa processes and immigration considerations.
