Job summary

CIEE is seeking a Study Abroad Advisor to drive enrollment for its college study abroad programs across the U.S. region. You will advise applicants through the review and pre-departure stages, ensuring a smooth process and strong participant outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and international experience, with a focus on high-quality service, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a dedication to CIEE’s mission of global education and intercultural exchange.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• Experience in education abroad or higher education preferred.
• International study or work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed enrollment targets by maximizing conversion of applicants to paid participants for a specific CIEE program region.
• Review applications for admission and administer decisions for a specific program region.
• Maintain knowledge of each CIEE program and location; discuss components with applicants.
• Develop and execute strategies to prepare students for onsite experiences and improve conversion.
• Initiate proactive contact with applicants, participants, parents, and study-abroad advisors throughout pre-departure.
